Italian Talk: A trip though Sicily and Sardinia

This foreign language talk will be delivered entirely in Italian, so you will need a good understanding of the spoken language to understand the content. You don’t need to be a fluent speaker, but you do need to understand sentences on unfamiliar topics.  

In questo talk verrai accompagnato in un viaggio virtuale alla scoperta delle due isole più grandi del Mediterraneo: la loro storia, le persone, il cibo, l'arte e la cultura. In this talk you will are going to be taken on a virtual trip to discover the two biggest islands in the Mediterranean sea: their history, people, food, art and culture.

Resources will be shared on Google classroom before and after the talk, so it is important that you have access to this Virtual Learning Platform to stay up to date. There will be no exams or qualifications, and the course will focus mainly on listening comprehension. At the end you will complete a simple task or a quiz to check your understanding and overall comprehension of the presentation. Additionally, we are going to ask you to complete a course evaluation survey to share your learning experience. This survey will be shared via Google classroom at the end of the course.

You need to have a good understanding of the spoken language to enable you to follow the content.
