Italian Level 3 year 2

This course is suitable for those who have successfully completed 300 hours learning the language (CEFR Level B1/B2). This course requires an intermediate level that enables learners to build on existing knowledge. You may also have acquired enough language whilst living abroad or with friends and family.

You will learn to give and seek factual information; express and find out attitudes of others, agreeing and disagreeing, giving and asking for reasons, requesting assistance, enquiring about and expressing intention, expressing judgments and evaluations. Grammatical structures includes present participles, past tenses, conditional, comparative, superlatives, adverbs and relative pronouns.

There will be no exams or qualifications. This course will mainly be delivered in the language using an immersive approach. Whilst you will, predominantly, be using speaking and listening skills in class, it is also important to recognise and address the fact that reading and writing skills are also very important at this level. Reading and writing will be explored as part of weekly homework, via Google Classroom, which the tutor will mark and feed the results back to you. This will help you both to know what needs to be done to help you progress.

You will need to have completed 300 hours learning the language or have a CEFR Level B1 or equivalent.

This course leads to a Level 4 year 1 course (CEFR B2). Your tutor will be able to give you more information before the end of your course.
