Advanced Italian: We Speak Italian (Parliamo Italiano)

This course is suitable for those who have an advanced knowledge of the language (CEFR Level C1/C2). Ideally, you would have completed a level 5 course.

ENGLISH - This course offers you the opportunity to practice oral expression through a variety of activities and exercises based on different conversation topics. In the classroom we will work in pairs or in groups, while at home you will work individually. This is a great way to gain confidence, work on pronunciation, and practice fluency with other students. The main objective of this course is to offer opportunities to speak Italian in an environment where students feel comfortable and without fear of making mistakes. ITALIANO - Questo corso ti offre la possibilità di praticare l'espressione orale attraverso una varietà di attività ed esercizi basati su diversi argomenti di conversazione. In classe lavoreremo in coppia o in gruppo, mentre a casa lavorerai individualmente. Questo è un ottimo modo per acquisire sicurezza, lavorare sulla pronuncia ed esercitarsi in scioltezza con altri studenti. L'obiettivo principale di questo corso è offrire opportunità di parlare italiano in un ambiente in cui gli studenti si sentano a proprio agio e senza timore di commettere errori.

There will be no exams or qualifications. Whilst you will, predominantly, be using speaking and listening skills in class, it is also important to recognise and address the fact that reading and writing skills are also very important at this level. Reading and writing will be explored as part of weekly homework, via Google Classroom, which the tutor will mark and feed the results back to you. This will help you both to know what needs to be done to help you progress.

You need to have a good understanding of the spoken language, as well as be able to produce it verbally (to a greater or lesser degree of accuracy) in order to access lessons and complete tasks effectively.
