Employability: Interview Techniques

These two 2.5hr workshops will focus on the interview process. You will develop an understanding of the skills needed to improve your chances of success of gaining employment.

The workshop will cover interview techniques including: • non-verbal and verbal communication • analyse strengths and weaknesses • question and answer techniques.

Two 2.5hr workshops to make you feel more confident in interviews and increase your chance of being successful in gaining the employment you want. You will learn how to answer questions to show you have the skills the employer is looking for.

There are no formal entry requirements, but you will be using IT. If you are not confident with your IT skills consider our Learn how to use your Google Classroom or Digital Skills for Beginners courses. You must have minimum Level 1 English Skills (ESOL or Functional Skills) to benefit from this course. An alternative option is available if this is not the case.

This course is part of Leicester Adult Education's suite of free employability courses providing you with the skills you need to find employment. In addition, you could also consider undertaking an accredited course to enhance your vocational skills further.
