English Entry 2
English Entry 2 courses develop learner’s skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing.
English Entry 2 courses teach learners how to:
- Speak clearly to express their feelings and opinions to people in familiar situations.
- Listen and respond to instructions and explanations.
- Ask question to clarify and obtain information
- Read, understanding and obtain information from familiar sources such as a dictionary, tickets, short letters, emails, notices, forms and instructions.
- Explore how to use images and captions within a text to help learners find information.
- Write everyday texts such as emails, notes and letters using basic punctuation correctly and lower case and upper-case letters appropriately.
- Accurately record personal details on forms.
- Correctly spell common words associated with their level of study and developing memory techniques.
