Family Learning Festival 2024

We are taking part in Campaign for Learning’s Family Learning Festival!

Join us in October half term for free, fun-filled days of inspiring you and your child’s curiosity. There will be lots to get involved with such as writing exciting stories and taking part in our hand decorating competition.

What's on?

Inspire your curiosity and let your imagination go wild as you journey into the adventure of storytelling!

One of our main activities will be creating stories, where you will write a short story with your child and make that story come alive with pictures and other materials. Our staff and tutors will be on hand to help you both. There may also be the chance to audio-record your story for Campaign for Learning’s podcast!

Story writing allows children to explore and express their own curiosity. During our activities, they’ll be encouraged with thought-provoking prompts, new situations and interesting characters from different worlds.

What story will you create? The possibilities are endless!

At Family Learning, we’re all about families learning together so that you can best support your children’s learning – so be prepared to get stuck in and learn new things too!
