Let's Get Digital

Our Let’s Get Digital courses support learners to develop their digital skills to become confident using their smart devices in everyday life.

Do you, or someone you know have little or no confidence using digital smart devices, such as mobile phones or tablets?

Our Let’s Get Digital courses aim to help learners use their digital devices confidently in everyday life, enabling them to stay connected, safe and independent.

They also explore how the digital world can support social wellbeing and help learners connect with others and build new social connections.

Everyone is welcome! Whether learners are just getting started or want to build their confidence, we’re here to support them every step of the way.

The Let’s Get Digital programme is funded by Leicester City Council Public Health.

If you work with a group who could benefit from these courses, please see our partner information below.

Our Let’s Get Digital courses take place in small, relaxed groups and are led by friendly, supportive tutors who provide clear, simple guidance at each learner’s pace.

Courses cover a range of topics, including:

. Creating strong passwords
. Using public Wi-Fi safely
. Learning how to stay connected safely while they are out and about
. Using QR codes with confidence
. Accessing NHS services online
. Finding interests and make social connections
. Planning local travel on smart devices

Courses run once-a-week for 2.5 hours, for 4 consecutive weeks. Let’s Get Digital courses are free.
