Develop your Microsoft Skills

This is a 10-week course designed to help you develop and improve your Microsoft Office 365 skills. The course covers Word, Excel and/or PowerPoint skills packages. We recommend this course as it gives you the opportunity to practice office skills and it supports progression with qualification courses.

This course will focus on projects to support creating and editing documents. The Microsoft applications can include Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word. The course is designed to be flexible around your ability and your tutor will direct you towards appropriate tasks.

This course will be delivered Face to Face. Due to the personalisation of learning, different learners will be focussed on different elements of the Microsoft Office suite. You will be supported by an experienced tutor who will personalise your learning. To benefit most from the course you will need access to a computer with internet connection outside of the lesson to practice. As part of the course you will be set up with full access to Office365.

As this is an individualised course, entry requirements will vary. The Intermediate course requires you to demonstrate skills at least of Entry 3 Level or preferably Level 1.

This course will give you the skills needed to progress onto an IT qualification course or the Advanced Microsoft Skills course.
