Microsoft Skills - Pre-Level 2

This course is designed to develop your digital skills and prepare you for the Level 2 Certificate in Digital and IT User Skills or similar workplace qualifications. Acting as a stepping stone from Level 1, it focuses on enhancing essential work skills and building confidence with advanced Microsoft tools and techniques.

• Developing essential workplace skills • Using specific text styles and exporting file types. • Mail Merge for professional document creation. • Image editing, including effects and animations. • Creating content that is fit for purpose and accessible. • Excel skills, including conditional formatting and charts.

The course is designed to be both creative and challenging. You will explore advanced formatting techniques, delve deeper into Excel functions, and gain the confidence to prepare for Level 2 qualifications. This course is 2.5 hours per week for 10 weeks.

This course is ideal for those with either an Essential Digital Skills Level 1 or Functional Digital Skills Level 1 qualification. You should also be able to demonstrate English skills at Level 1 and have experience using various Microsoft applications.

Upon successful completion, you will be ready to progress to the Level 2 Certificate in Digital and IT User Skills, equipping you with the qualifications needed for modern workplaces or further study in IT and digital skills.
