Beginner Digital Skills for ESOL

Are you ready to develop your English and digital skills together? This course is designed for ESOL Entry 1 and Entry 2 learners and will help you gain confidence in using digital tools while improving your English language abilities. Learn essential digital skills in a fun and supportive environment.

• Accessing and using Google Classroom • Typing comments in Stream • Identifying computer parts and functions • Uploading photos into Class Assignments • Signing out of accounts safely • Recognising basic keyboard keys and functions • Improving mouse control skills • Understanding basic digital terminology • Formatting text with Google Docs • Writing and sending emails •Typing email addresses accurately

• A fun and lively learning environment. • Basic digital skills taught step-by-step. • Opportunities to practise new digital vocabulary. • Activities that link digital skills with ESOL Entry 1 and Entry 2 content. • Interactive games to develop English spelling, punctuation, and grammar. • Increased confidence in using Google Classroom.

Learners will: • Be enrolled on an LAE ESOL E1 or E2 course. • Have access to a smartphone. • Meet eligibility criteria.
