Entry 3 English Skills

Our English Skills Entry Level courses, ranging from Entry 1 to Entry 3, are designed to help you develop the essential English skills needed for everyday life and prepare you to progress onto Functional Skills qualifications. Whether you are looking to boost your confidence, bridge gaps in spelling, punctuation, and grammar, or support your children with their English homework, this course is tailored to meet your learning needs.

• Develop confidence in using English in daily situations. • Improve spelling, punctuation, and grammatical knowledge. • Build foundational skills to progress onto Functional Skills English qualifications. • Receive personalised support to address your specific learning goals.

• No exams – the focus is on skill development and confidence building. • Classes are held once or twice a week, and face-to-face sessions are supported by online learning tools such as Google Classroom and Google Meet. • You will need regular access to a digital device to complete online tasks. • Weekly homework will be assigned to reinforce your learning. • Attendance of at least 80% is expected, so please arrive promptly for each lesson.

To ensure the course meets your needs, you will complete an initial assessment. This will help us place you on the most suitable course level (Entry 1, 2, or 3).

Upon completing this course, you will have the skills and confidence to progress onto Functional Skills Entry Level qualifications, opening up further opportunities for personal and professional development.
