Entry 2/3 Maths Skills

We offer short Maths Skills courses from Entry 1 to Entry 3 to prepare learners to progress to Functional Skills qualifications. This course will enable you to develop the skills and knowledge needed to increase confidence with using numbers and maths in everyday life and progress on to entry level qualification courses.

This short course will be tailored to your learning needs and help you to become confident to progress onto Functional Skills qualifications. You will be able to: • develop underpinning mathematical skills • bridge the gap in mathematical knowledge • progress to functional skills maths course

• No exams – the focus is on skill development and confidence building. • Classes are held once or twice a week, and face-to-face sessions are supported by online learning tools such as Google Classroom and Google Meet. • You will need regular access to a digital device to complete online tasks. • Weekly homework will be assigned to reinforce your learning. • Attendance of at least 80% is expected, so please arrive promptly for each lesson.

Before starting, you will complete a Maths initial assessment to ensure you are placed on the right course to meet your needs.

Upon completing this course, you will have the skills and confidence to progress onto Functional Skills Entry Level qualifications, opening up further opportunities for personal and professional development.
