Level 1 Maths Skills ONLINE

This short online Maths Skills course is designed to help you prepare for Functional Skills qualifications at Level 1 and Level 2. It will develop the core skills and knowledge you need to boost your confidence with using Maths in everyday tasks and situations.

This short online course will be tailored to your learning needs and help you to become confident to progress onto Functional Skills qualifications. Develop underpinning mathematical skills and progress to functional skills maths courses.

There are no exams on this course. Classes are offered once or twice a week in online sessions. You will use online platforms, including Google Classroom and Google Meet, so regular access to a PC, laptop, or tablet, table internet connectivity and a quiet area to study are essential. Attendance of at least 80% is required, and you are expected to log on promptly and complete weekly homework assignments.

• Complete a Maths initial assessment to determine your level. • You must have access to a PC, laptop, or tablet, stable internet connectivity and a quiet area to study. • A good level of digital skills is essential. • Before starting, you will need to complete a 'How to Use Google Classroom' course.

Upon completion, you will be ready to progress to the Maths Functional Skills Level 1 or Level 2 qualification course, opening doors to further education or personal development.
