Level 1 Maths Skills

This short Maths Skills course is designed to help you prepare for Functional Skills qualifications at Level 1 and Level 2. It will develop the core skills and knowledge you need to boost your confidence with using Maths in everyday tasks and situations.

This short course will be tailored to your learning needs and help you to become confident to progress onto Functional Skills qualifications. Develop underpinning mathematical skills and progress to functional skills maths courses.

There are no exams on this course. Classes are offered once or twice a week in face-to-face sessions. You will also use online platforms, including Google Classroom and Google Meet, so regular access to a PC, laptop, or tablet is essential. Attendance of at least 80% is required, and you are expected to arrive promptly and complete weekly homework assignments.

Before enrolling, you will complete an initial assessment to ensure this is the most appropriate course for your needs.

Upon completion, you will be ready to progress to the Maths Functional Skills Level 1 or Level 2 qualification course, opening doors to further education or personal development.
