This course offers a progression through both Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications, making it ideal for those seeking to confirm and certify their existing skills or enhance their knowledge for the recruitment process. Customer service skills are not just for frontline staff, as these are transferable skills in any workplace role.

Develop essential customer service skills and understanding through topics such as: • Understanding different communication methods • Awareness of good customer service • Dealing professionally with customer queries and complaints • How needs and expectations are formed • Interpersonal skills and appropriate behaviour

This 20-hour short course is delivered primarily in a classroom setting, allowing learners to share their experiences and practise newly acquired skills. You will complete a mini portfolio for the Level 1 qualification and an on-screen assessment to achieve Level 2.

To ensure this course is the right fit for you, you will be required to undertake English, maths and a vocational initial assessment. Whilst there are no specific entry requirements, learners should ideally be working at Level 1 in English and Maths. If evidence of these qualifications is not available, an English initial assessment may be required. Basic digital skills are also necessary, as assessments are completed on screen. Free Essential Digital Skills courses and workshops are available to support you in accessing online learning resources.
