Exploring Art History: Introduction to Art Appreciation

Are you interested in Art Appreciation but you're not sure where to start? Then this course is for you.

The basics of art appreciation: definitions and roles of the artist, visual thinking, artistic elements and principles of the visual language, and critical perspectives. This course will help you develop an understanding of what Art Appreciation means so that you feel more confident looking at artworks in galleries and museums.

Learning will be conducted through many visual examples and resources. Learners are expected to share their opinions about different pieces of art, in  friendly and open discussion sessions.
