Do you want to improve your English skills? Our ESOL Advice, Assessment and Enrolment Sessions will help you to enrol onto a course to help you improve your skills.

Do you want to improve your English skills? If so, our ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) courses are for you!

Our ESOL courses will help you to improve your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. You’ll also:

  • Feel more confident in daily life
  • Learn in a fun, multicultural environment
  • Be taught by friendly tutors
  • Make friends with other learners
  • Learn more about Leicester
  • Boost your confidence to go into further study
  • Increase your job opportunities

Our courses support complete beginners, all the way up to ESOL level 2. We run ESOL courses in venues across Leicester city, so you can learn closer to home.

Does that sound like something you’d like to do? Great! To join one of our ESOL courses, you will need to come along to one of our Advice, Assessment and Enrolment Sessions. Join us at the following:

  • Belgrave Neighbourhood Centre, LE4 6LF: Monday 20th January 9:30am-11:30am and 1-3pm
  • Highfields Library, LE3 0DS: Tuesday 21st January, 9:30am-11:30am
  • Somali Development Services, LE2 1HA: Tuesday 21st January, 1-3pm
  • Leicester Adult Education College, LE1 6QL: Wednesday 22 January, 9:30-11:30am
  • Leicester Adult Education College, LE1 6QL: Thursday 23 January, 9:30am-11:30am, 1-3pm and 5-6pm.
  • St Barnabas Library, LE5 4AH: Monday 27 January, 9:30am-11:30am

At the Advice, Assessment and Enrolment sessions, you will talk to our staff about our courses. You will also need to complete an Initial Assessment. An Initial Assessment is a short activity where you answer some questions, which help us to confirm what skills and knowledge you already have. This means we can enrol you onto the right level ESOL course to best support your learning.
