Leicester Enablement Team’s Community Conversations
Leicester Enablement Team will be in the Old Library Café on the first Wednesday of every month, offering free information, advice and guidance on a range of everyday issues.
Do you have a problem and don't know where to turn?
Leicester City Council’s Enablement Team will be holding monthly Community Conversations drop-in sessions at Leicester Adult Education College.
The sessions provide an opportunity to access free information, advice and guidance on a range of issues that may affect you in your day-to-day life. The team can also signpost you to other services and organisations that may be able to provide further support.
The Enablement Team wants to:
Talk about:
How you can stay happy, healthy and independent.
Help you understand:
Any gaps in your support and work with you to find solutions.
Provide:
Information, advice and guidance, including signposting to relevant support services.
The Enablement Team can provide information, advice and guidance on a range of topics, including:
- Housing
- Benefits
- Debt
- Social groups
- Loneliness
- Energy efficiency
- Utility companies
- Council tax
- Legal aid
- Pensions
- Domestic abuse
- Anger management
- Voluntary work
- Job Centre support
- Carer support
- Form filling
If the team cannot answer your question, they will help you find an organisation or service that can.

Time: 11:30am to 1:30pm
Location: Old Library Café, Leicester Adult Education College
