This course will progress you from introductory level through both level 1 and level 2 qualifications. An ideal short course to either confirm and provide you certification of your existing skills or will boost your knowledge and understanding to support you in the recruitment process.

The fundamentals and principals of good customer service including: • Understanding different communication methods • Awareness of good customer service following organisational procedures • Effectively and professionally dealing with customer queries, problems and complaints • How needs and expectations are formed • Interpersonal skills and appropriate behaviour

This five session or 35 hour course is mainly delivered in classroom to provide learners with opportunities to share knowledge gained through experience and to practice the skills and techniques learnt. You will take two on screen assessments to confirm your achievement across both levels of the qualification.

Whilst there are no specific entry requirements for this course, it is expected that you will be working, at least, to Entry 3 level in English and ideally Maths. If you do not have evidence of these qualifications, you may be asked to complete an English initial assessment to confirm your current level. Basic digital skills will be required on this course as the assessment is on screen. As these skills are valuable for employment generally, you can access free Essential Digital Skills courses with us and you will be expected to attend a workshop to confirm you are aware how to use the online learning resources

This qualification will be an excellent addition to your CV or application for a variety of customer facing roles in many industry sectors. We do not offer a direct progression qualification for this but many of our vocational qualifications would compliment this towards creating a broad skill base for employers
