Advanced Italian: We Speak Italian (Parliamo Italiano)

This course is suitable for those who have an advanced knowledge of the language (CEFR Level C1/C2).

ITALIANO - Questo corso ti offre la possibilità di praticare l'espressione orale attraverso una varietà di attività ed esercizi basati su diversi argomenti di conversazione. In classe lavoreremo in coppia o in gruppo, mentre a casa lavorerai individualmente. Questo è un ottimo modo per acquisire sicurezza, lavorare sulla pronuncia ed esercitarsi in scioltezza con altri studenti. L'obiettivo principale di questo corso è offrire opportunità di parlare italiano in un ambiente in cui gli studenti si sentano a proprio agio e senza timore di commettere errori. ENGLISH - This course offers you the opportunity to practice oral expression through a variety of activities and exercises based on different conversation topics. In the classroom we will work in pairs or in groups, while at home you will work individually. This is a great way to gain confidence, work on pronunciation, and practice fluency with other students. The main objective of this course is to offer opportunities to speak Italian in an environment where students feel comfortable and without fear of making mistakes.

There will be no exams or qualifications. Therefore, the level of this course is not comparable to qualification courses with other providers. This course will mainly be delivered in the language using an immersive approach. The tutor will teach in a responsive way, responding to the learning needs and styles of the group. Learners are expected to predominately practice their speaking and listening skills in class and practice reading and writing skills as part of regular homework tasks. This gives the tutor an opportunity to identify group weaknesses and to provide you with personalised feedback to help you improve.

You need to have an advanced understanding of the Italian Language (B2-C1). Ideally, you would have completed Italian Level 3 or above with us.
