Digital Skills for Beginners (Part 2)

This course is designed for those who are new to using computers or have limited experience. It is perfect for individuals who want to build confidence when accessing the digital world. You will learn how to stay safe online and improve your digital skills in a supportive and enjoyable environment.

• Using Google Classroom • Using a keyboard and mouse effectively • Creating secure and safe passwords • Writing and sending emails on computers and phones • Using Google Docs and basic formatting skills • Accessing web links and QR codes

Our course provides an engaging and safe environment where you can build your skills using computers. Bring your own device if you wish and take part in activities and exercises designed to boost your confidence and digital abilities. This course is 2.5 hours per week for 10 weeks.

There are no formal requirements for this course. However, attending a Let’s Get Digital course beforehand would be beneficial for absolute beginners. You will need access to a smartphone and a minimum English level of Entry 3.

After completing this course, you can progress to Microsoft Skills - Introduction, additional Let’s Get Digital courses, or other related digital skills training.
