Join us for our Skills for Work Advice, Assessment and Enrolment Sessions in February!
Make 2025 the year that you make the steps towards your dream career with one of our Skills for Work courses.
Join one of our Advice, Assessment and Enrolment Sessions in December to get your learning plan into place. These sessions are running on:
. Tuesday 4 February, 9:30am-6pm
. Tuesday 11 February, 9:30am-6pm
All sessions are at Leicester Adult Education College, Belvoir Street, LE1 6QL.
Our friendly staff will discuss your career goals with you and talk through which courses will help you achieve those. We have courses in the following subjects:
. Business, Admin and Accounts: Allows you to stay up to date with the modern business world and
gain qualifications that employers require.
. Computing and Digital Skills: Helps you to be confident using the online world in everyday life and gain qualifications to help you stand out in the competitive job market.
. Employment Programme: These courses are designed to help you find employment by developing essential skills needed for individual career paths.
. First Aid: These courses provide the nationally recognised qualifications to be effective first aiders in the workplace.
. Working with Children and Adults: A range of qualifications suitable for people working in schools, nurseries or in supportive roles with adults.
Plus, you’ll be taught by experienced tutors and learn with other like-minded, motivated adult learners.
At the session, you may be asked to also do an initial assessment too. An Initial Assessment is a short activity where you answer some questions, which help us to confirm what skills and knowledge you already have, so we can enrol you onto the right level of course to best support your learning. We can advise you more when you call to book.
Booking is essential. Call us on 0116 454 1900 to book your appointment or to ask any questions.
Please plan to be at your session for 1 to 2 hours, dependent on how many courses you’d like to join.
