Our Community Inclusion projects offer a range of free activities that promote adult learning opportunities in a variety of local venues across the city.
We want as many people as possible to experience the benefits of adult learning, whether that is to learn how use your smart phone safely and securely, keep your house warm, or learn about how to eat more healthily and sustainably. Our projects offer the opportunity to meet other people in a safe and welcoming environment whilst learning new skills.
Many of our projects are run in partnership with organisations such as Public Health, Leicester Museums and Galleries and Neighbourhood Services. We also work closely with a variety of local community and voluntary organisations. We work with our partners to promote health and social wellbeing and to help tackle issues such as social isolation and the rise in the cost of living. There are no costs to attend these courses.
If you are interested in finding out more about joining one of our projects, or you are a local community organisation that would like to work with us, please contact us.
We currently offer longer, courses including British Sign Language, Pottery for Sight Loss, Mindful Yoga, and Yoga for intermediates. These have a fee.
