Drawing, Painting, and Printing

Our Drawing, Painting and Printing courses will develop your creativity with a range of different art specialisms to choose from. Tutors encourage and celebrate a range of different cultural styles, approaches and art techniques.

Engaging with art can be a great way to improve your wellbeing. Take time out for yourself, develop a sense of self-pride in the work you create and socialise within a community of other adult learners.

Each year we offer a diverse range of courses, from beginners to advanced level, including Botanical Drawing & Illustration, Drawing with Ink, Life Drawing, Experimenting with different media, Watercolour Painting, and more.

Learner Story: Frank - It's Never too Late to Learn! 

Meet Frank, aged 97, who proves that it’s never too late to learn.



“Courses are a lifesaver at my age. If you enjoy art and being with creative people, then it’s great.”

Last year, Frank’s artwork was exhibited and used on promotional materials for our Art Exhibition.

Frank told us, “I really enjoyed it, I felt very lucky to have something presented. It felt good to be selected. It’s a real privilege.”
