Catherine attended several of our employability courses, including Digital Skills for the Self Employed, Online Marketing and Build Your Own Website. She joined these courses after a period of unemployment, feeling a lack of confidence, unsure about career options and only just beginning to consider being self-employed.
Catherine told us how these courses have helped her develop a clear plan. She has a better understanding of options in the self-employment world and can make better choices.
“It has given me a lot more confidence and clarified a lot of questions I didn’t know I had. It’s a mindset shift to thinking about the whole process, marketing, selling and how to make it work.”
Catherine explained how the course gave her space to explore her ideas, ask questions and think about how to build on what she’s started.
Since then, Catherine is now in the process of developing a plan for launching her handmade jewellery business.
“These courses have given me the confidence that I can do it!”
Here's some of Catherine's work! You can find more on her Facebook and Instagram. We wish Catherine all the best with her business endeavours!
